Digital Photographic and Photoshop CS3 Courses

Our state of the art Digital Photographic Studio is located in Sitges and is an easy walk, about 15 minutes, from the centre of Town and the accommodation on offer.

It is professionally equipped with the latest high tech digital equipment:

5 workstations, one per student as all in-studio courses apply to a maximum of 5 students at any one time
Flat screen Apple Mac hardware
Photoshop CS3 Creative Suite is on every machine.
Epson 9800 Giclée printer.

Our 5/7 day Digital Photograpic Courses run from Saturday to Friday but you can of course book your accommodation for longer… why not incorporate a holiday into your visit to Sitges Photographic School.

2 day “Introduction to Digital Photography and Photoshop CS3”

This is a beginners 2 day course and costs €250 (+16% Taxes), total €290.  

It is our primary course and commences the Saturday before our second level course“Digital Photographic and Photoshop CS3 Course”

If you have little or a limited knowledge of digital cameras and photographic techniques and/or Photoshop CS3 we strongly advise that you take the opportunities provided within this short 2 day course to consolidate and improve your basic knowledge of these essential elements before embarking on the 5 day “Digital Photographic and Photoshop CS3 Course” otherwise students will have varying skills/abilities and therefore without the knowledge that the Introductory Course offers may find themselves missing out on the full benefits that 5 day course offers.

This course is suitable for all levels of photographer from beginner to experienced amatuers. The only proviso is that complete beginners must already have the knowledge/experience of the elements outlined in the "Introduction to Digital Photography/Photoshop CS3" course or have attended the 2 day introductory course. We will send you a Photoshop CS3 questionnaire of the elements you need to know before embarking on this course.

Instruction on Photoshop CS3 continues throughout the course and includes:

Colour Management – How to match your monitor’s version of the image to that of the printed image:
Defining colour space: RGB, Adobe RGB (1998), CMYK and LAB
System optimisation and profile selection
How to embed colour profiles: to enable the accurate translation of images through your workflow.
